Botox vs. Dysport

By: Megan Ahmed

Botox vs. Dysport.

Do I like both? YEP

Do I use both? YEP

The facts:

Both contain the same active ingredient “Botulinum Type A”

Both are indicated to improve the appearance in fine lines and wrinkles.

Dosing of Dysport typically requires more units when compared to Botox, however the cost ends up being similar in the end.

Some patients report a faster onset of Dysport compared to Botox - this is likely due to its small molecular size and large percentage of active ingredient.

Schedule a time to chat with Megan at Desert Sage Dermatology to learn more about which one of these neuromodulators would work best for you.
